Cleveland Indians and their bling

Cleveland Indians, Jhonny Peralta and Kelly Shoppach were in Sheffield Village for an autograph signing session at the new Key Bank. These are never the most interesting assignments because the pictures are just backs of heads or profiles. Add in the fact that the players are generally not all that excited about hanging out with the unwashed masses.
As I was standing there I couldn’t help but notice the bling these guys were wearing. The watch Shoppach was wearing was huge. Peraltta had a slightly smaller watch but he made up for it with all the diamonds and a seriously heavy expensive looking stainless steel bracelet loaded with diamonds.

Jhonny Peraltta wins the bling show down with no effort at all. He’s wearing the Cartier Santos 100, diamond watch. Jomashop.com lists this watch at $92,500. The good news is you can get it at a reduced $78,625. Like I said before he has the bracelet, that has to be worth considerably more that $10,000.
If you want to pull off the same look on a non Major League budget go online and look around for a replica. Those are going for $260 on most of the sites I saw. You could buy 300 of the knockoffs for the price of Peraltta’s real thing.

While Shoppach didn’t spend quite as much money his watch is frigging huge. the picture doesn’t even come close to showing how big this thing really is. The watch is a Breitling Bentley Limited Edition and while I couldn’t find this exact watch online something that looks like it can be purchased on Gemnation.com for a respectable $9200. Shoppach’s watch has diamonds on each of the hour markers so that will push the price higher. I ran across a watch like his with a diamond bezel that went for $27,000.
Again, the knockoff route will get you a similar watch for $250. You could even pickup the super blinged version of the watch for that price.
